The official house perimeters represent the geometry of over 50 million building floor plans in polygon form. Like the official house coordinates, they are derived from the data of the real estate cadastre.
With additional information such as the building/house perimeters, the development structure in many larger German city centers is clarified. The house perimeters are supplied including object area and geo key. Furthermore, they are available in combination with data from the extensive microgeographic Nexiga Building database.
They provide valuable information when planning stores, evaluating locations (for example, for WiFi hotspots or navigation apps), calculating floor plans or sealed areas, and many other geomarketing issues. Likewise, they can be used to visually enhance street maps on websites or in mobile apps.
